I want to buy a pie but I don’t live near Indianapolis. Can you ship a pie to me?
If you live in Central Indiana, we can deliver to 19 counties through Market Wagon. Click here to learn more.
Other than that, our pies are currently only available for pick-up at the shop and we are unable to ship at this time. Follow us on social media to stay in the loop - we hope to offer it soon!
Do I need to order a pie ahead of time or can I just come to the shop and buy one in person?
We typically have everything on our current menu in stock at the shop, but if you want to guarantee that the pie will be available, we recommend placing our order by visiting our online store or calling us at 317.600.3475.
There’s a pie flavor I’m interested in but I don’t see it listed on your menu. Can I still order one?
We currently do not take special orders, but we do our best to provide a variety of great pie options in every season.
I had one of your pies a few months ago, but I don’t see it on your menu anymore. Where did it go?
We rotate our menu seasonally, which depends largely on our access to local ingredients. For instance, we use local, in-season fruit as much as possible in the warmer months. If you are waiting for a certain pie to come back, you will likely see it around the same time of year it was last available.
Can I re-heat my pie?
Absolutely! We recommend using an oven rather than a microwave to heat your sweet pies. Reheat a slice in a 350° oven for 5 minutes, or reheat a whole pie at 350° for 15-20 minutes. You can also cover the pie with foil so it doesn't get too dark. You can also use this approach for pot pies, though it may take a bit longer.
How many people can a whole pie serve?
We typically slice a pie into 6 slices at the shop, but some of our customers do 8 slices at home. It all depends on the crowd you’re trying to feed!
As for pot pies, the 6” feeds 1-2 people and the 9” feeds 4-6.
Do you have seating in your shop?
We no longer have seating in our shop. During the pandemic we eliminated seating, and have since replaced that space with a large pot pie freezer that takes up a good portion of our former seating area.
I’m interested in having pie at my wedding. Can you do anything special for us?
We can! We’ve provided many couples with special pies designed just for them and incorporating floral design from the wedding ceremony. Click here to read our write-up in Indianapolis Monthly. For all wedding-related inquiries, please email kaitlyn@potsandpansindy.com.
